Hello....

I haven't updated much this past 6 months, I know...T_T
And I was planning to get on my toes and start drawing when my sembreak comes....

But last September 26 (a date I will NEVER EVER forget), if you heard, the typhoon Ondoy brought immense flooding in the Philippines, particularly in the place where I live (it's near a river). The flood reached 6 ft inside our house. We had no second floor, so our family had to evacuate to a safer place.

Thankfully, we were all safe and the flood went down in just one night. But what we found back in our house well... was literally a garbage dump... and among the casualties were my books, notebooks, school papers, and my precious drawing portfolio and card collection.
(And I'm so glad the water didn't reach the top of our cabinet, where the PC I'm using right now was placed before we left the house)

I was able to salvage some of my drawings, and dried them up under the sun for several days... But lots of them were hopeless... These are some examples of how they look like:

Hmm... I know it's been weeks since this happened, and I should get over it already... Besides, other people had it tough too... With floods reaching 15-20ft in other places, some people not only lost material possessions, but their loved ones as well.

I am indeed thankful that I am alive and my family is safe. After all, I still have my hands, and I can draw more of my artworks....:nod:

Hiya! I noticed your Ragnarok art!
